We Have Water Again!!
Yeah!! We have running water again (since you can't see me, I will tell you that I am dancing and singing with joy). The new pump is quieter and more wonderful and we are all busy appreciating taking hot baths instead of standing at the sink with bottles of water (for those of you who are interested you can get clean with only five bottles of water, if you are careful). The only casulaties were a badly cut hand (Jerry) and some strained back muscles (Forrest). We figured out that it has cost us 7.39 per month to have our own well, so for those of you who pay a water bill you will understand that it is fairly cheap (except for the monthly electrical bill).

Congrats on the water! Bummer that dad and Forrest got hurt. Are they doing ok?

I'm with Tina on the bottled water info. :) Jerry sure is having a hard time staying out of trouble these days. Could you try to pay more attention to him so he doesn't have to keep going to such drastic measures to be noticed!! Love you and miss you!!!

ReplyDeleteI happen to have lots of experience bathing out of bottles/buckets. And in all of my experiences I can't remember a single positive one. I am surprised you didn't make dad break out the bathtub in the creek. So how did it go from one day to 3? Bryan
ReplyDeleteIt went from 1-3 days, due to the complications of dad tearing his finger to shreds, having to use a high lift jack to bring it up one section at a time, and just general difficulties. I am definitely not bathing in the creek while these young men live with us.
